Intentional education: formation of pedagogical intentionality of preschool teachers

Abstract

The authors present basic principles of developing kindergarten teachers’ professional competence described in the experimental vocational training program. It was developed on the methodological basis of K.D. Ushinskiy’s ideas, the theory of plot-role plays for preschoolers as a leading type of activity, approaches to observation and forecasting. The arguments reflecting the need to develop preschool teachers’ pedagogical intentionality as a special type of preschooler teaching are presented. The basics of experimental learning are also described. A model of developing the pedagogical intentionality within the experimental program framework is shown. The program content is based on methods of observation and pedagogical diagnostics, which theoretical foundation is substantiated in game theory, theory of pedagogical observation and forecasting. The basic principles of implementing the program are based on methods of active professional training and pedagogical supervision of the humanistic direction.
